'Aliya in (Melaka) Wonderland!

When I tweeted my excitement on going to Melaka Wonderland sometime ago, I received quite a few replies saying that the place wouldn't live to my expectations. It nearly got the best of me since I thought of bringing 'Aliya to the place -- and if Adik tak happy, no point of going there lah, kan?

But I went ahead, nevertheless.

Plus, I was with the QK ladies -- a very lively, excited bunch -- tak kira ah di mana mereka berada.
So I know I will be A-okay.
And Adik will instantly get new other sisters sampai lupa Along sendiri, percayalah =P

We spent the whole broad daylight there, repeating water slides, lazing around under the shy Melaka sun and enjoying water concert/mascot shows in the man made ocean sampai jari kecut seribu.

We head to Melaka town, aiming for the famous cendol durian but got lost in Jonker Street, which we didn't mind much. Jonker Street is a must stop whenever you are in Melaka -- and that made me miss the Askar's even more :')

We got the cendol we wanted and later went on a road spree finding the Assam Pedas for dinner. Albeit the late dinner and being worn out from the excitements, Adik behaved well -- sebab Kak Long promised her more if she does, heh heh heh.

Overall, I must thank Linda & Kak Dee -- and the QK ladies too -- for inviting me along and considering much about everything -- speshly bout my lil sister's comfort! Next next time, must singgah my house in Seremban, okay?

Melaka Wonderland might not be as great as Sunway Lagoon (yet), but with the right friends and companions, you don't care much as long as you enjoy your time there.

Kapish ;)

Yang paling penting, si kecik ni enjoyed herself much & I'm happy that she did ^^

Coz' I'm a hopeless romantic for guys like Chris Medina.

I rarely watch TV these days, let alone the latest American Idol auditions.
So to learn about Medina from AI is somehow a sign, or an assurance for me that people like Medina still exists.

He might be a rare gem, but I believe there's a bit of him in each one of us -- to be by our loved ones for better and especially; for worse :')

This Is Your Queen Mother -- Not!

This was taken during lunch hour just effin now.
The colleagues and I went to this costume shop in Hartamas and rented ourselves dresses for our company's annual dinner tomorrow night.

Since the dinner ada tema bagai -- it's Masquerade Night by the way -- excuseeeee us for being so semangat.

(Oh well, saya terpengaruh. Saya bayangkan nak pakai maxi dress je haish boringnya kau ni Long.)

By the way, this is not the dress I rented, okay?
Was trying it out for fun.
One of the brondong manis tried this ala military uniform and looked dashingly handsome in it, haihhh konfem esok malam ramai lah yang amik gambar dengan kau, nak.

But the dress I rented --- er,seriously tatau camne nak pakai pun, main bantai sewa je haha.
Even the mask that will go with the dress pun, Along pinjam je dari Naja nanti so yeahh, see how-lah tomorrow okay?

Will blog about the costume shop, the dress & the dinner when I got the time!
Daa!

Come again here a few days more kalau malas baca yang ini, I hope there's a new entry by then =P

If you noticed, bila tajuk-tajuk entry kat sini dah semacam, there are things close to me bothering me much.
I wish I could say it bluntly out loud, but I dont know why I still care about who reads here and why I mind the unmentioned feelings -- even when MY feelings kalian pijak campak ke sana sini.

Okay okay, before that, I don't intend to sound too serious in here.
Just jotting down some whatevers, bear with me for awhile eh eh eh.

I swear, I have tonnes to share here.
Even 'Aliya asked many times when will I give her the pictures we took when we were in Melaka Wonderland few weeks ago. "Adik nak upload kat Facebook!" katanya. Meaning I've to go back home ah, since yes, it has been awhile too since I went back to Seremban.

And yes, I no longer commute Seremban-Kelana Jaya anymore. My heart still race a beat whenever I see a RapidKL bus coming, thinking I might miss the bus -- but the fact I now need not to do that took some time to settle in my mind.
Lama-lama biasa ah.
Setahun berulang, sure fond memories I had.
(yeah, righhht.)

Anyways, 2011 has been, hmm, well, fairly good to me so far.

I would wanna say awesome, tapi tipu gila la coz I had my fair share of crying.
Sikit.
Sikit je nangis.
Redha meredhai, Tuhan je tahu.

So it's cool to say that it has been fairly good la kan?
Seimbang.
Biarpun tak seimbang mana, since there were more goods than bads hehehehe.

I was out and about with friends, accompanying a bride to be for a test make up, outstations with the colleagues -- even work has been great (new promotion, new salary, alhamdulillah!) and of course, I recently conquered another mountain!

So that would be a back to back entry if I just had the time to update.
I will, insyaAllah -- and not just a cheating Wordless Wednesday post =P

These days I try hard not to mourn long -- be it over my problem or problems caused by others.

I cry, (yes I must cry) while facing it, settle selagi boleh (with help,of course!) and bila takleh settle, I get over it -- quick.
Even with a heavy heart.
Specially when things don't go my way.
It may stay in my mind for a few days, but I know it will eventually go away.
Out of my heart, out of my mind.

But what made me stay grounded, or think twice before saying something nasty, or succumb to the lowest level are the worthy people behind me -- who supported and reasoned out with me not to just do the opposite which is mengikut kata hati yang emosi mati.

(I can never do this battle alone, I swear. Sigh)

And of course, tiap yang terjadi ada reason yang tersendiri.
Obviously the good reasons -- reasons that I might not see before, reasons to move on, reasons to be more thankful and a WHOLE lot more.

I mean, it wouldn't be right if I were to be sad over some silly people when a friend is having difficulties in her pregnancies, or someone who lost their parents -- or do I need to compare to the other part of the world that are suffering?
You know what I mean kan?

On a another note, having abilities or advantages doesn't give you the right to judge and belittle other people, specially those you know their weaknesses.
Never. ever. do. that.
Tak kiralah tengah marah ke, tengah hormon tak stabil ke, janganlah bijak sangat letak hukum sana sini, doa balasan itu ini.

Lupa ke kita ada Tuhan?

Ini mental note untuk kamu juga, Long!

I could go on and on, but I don't like much when I write this way.
I wanna put pictures and share happy happy moments only so yeah --- this is only my own mental note, coretan yang mungkin immature to some, coretan yang please-lah jangan ah terasa that I'm talking about you.
Or you.
And you.
And whoever you may be.

But if adaaaa jugak yang nak terasa, lantak ah.

'Cause if you didn't know...

Tahun ni memang tahun lantak ah.
Serius, lantak ah.

:')

Not asking for a love poet, but I don't mind listening to one on replay.

I'm Not A Love Poet - Rudy Francisco

I want you to bite my lips until I can no longer speak,
and then suck my ex-girlfriend's name out of my mouth just to make sure that she never comes up in our conversations.

I'm gonna be honest,
I'm not really a love poet.

In fact, every time I try to write about love,
my hand's cramped,
just to show me how painful love can be.

Sometimes my pencils break,
just to prove to me that every now and then that love takes a little bit more work than you plan.

See, I heard that love is blind,
so I read all my poems in braille.

And my poems are never actually finished because true love is endless.

See, I always believe that true love is kind like a supermodel before she's airbrushed.
It's pure,
and imperfect-
just the way that God intended.

I'm gonna be honest; I'm not a love poet.

But if I was to wake up tomorrow morning and decide that I really want to write about love but I swear that my first poem,
it would be about you.

About how I love you the same way how I learned to ride a bike: Scared.
But reckless.
With no training wheels, or elbow pads, so my scars can tell the story of how I fell for you.

You see, I'm not really a love poet.

But if I was, I'd write about how I see your face in every cloud
and your reflection in every window.

You see, I've written like a million poems hoping that somehow,
maybe someway you'll jump out of the page and be closer to me because if you were here
right now i would massage your back until your skin sings songs that your lips don't even know the words to --
until your heartbeat sounds like my last name
and you smile like the pacific ocean-
I wanna drink the sunlight in your skin.

If I was a love poet,
I'd write about how you have the audacity to be beautiful,
even on days when everything around you is ugly.

You see, I'd write about your eyelashes and how they're like violin strings that play symphonies every time you blink-
if I was a love poet, I'd write about how I melt in front of you like an ice sculpture every time I hear the vibration in your voice,
And whenever I see your name on the caller id,
My heart -- it plays hopscotch inside of my chest.

It climbs on to my ribs like monkey bars and I feel like a child all over again.

I know this sounds strange but every now and then
I pray that God somehow turns you back into one of my ribs
just so I would never have to spend an entire day without you.

But I swear,
I'm not a love poet.

But if I was to wake up tomorrow morning,
And decide that I really want to write about love
you're my first poem;
it would be about you.

And after all of that, she was like;
"So how do you feel about me?"

And I said;

Put it like this,

I wanna be your ex-boyfriend's stuntman.
I wanna do everything that he never had the courage to do, like -- trust you.
I swear that when our lips touched,
I can taste the next 60 years of my life.

And some days I want to swallow stacks of your pictures
just so you can be a part of me for a little bit longer .

If I could I would sample your smile
and then I would let my heart beat do the bass line,
we could create the greatest love song of all time.

Whenever we stand next to each other,
Love.. I was the only one made for you and you can be at last my Etta James.

I'll be oh child when you're in pain or you could be the candy coated drops of rain
Even though it never rains in Southern California.

And together, we could be music.
And when my friends ask if you're my girlfriend,
I'll say; "No. She is my musician."

"And me...I'm her favorite song."

Pangkor : The Super Delayed Post

Shall we skip the part where I had to explain why is this post is finally up and you peeps got to bare with all these back dated entries and so forth?

Oh yes we shall ;)

Rewinding back to the day we arrived at the Jeti Lumut, these are our faces while waiting for our ferry to Jeti Pulau Pangkor.

Considering it was a 4 hour long bus ride and a free style of nasi lemak eating session in between it, pastu redah hujan for lunch, we were still an excited bunch!

The queue to board the ferry -- panjang gila! It was raining at that time, making the covered places crowded with people looking for shelter. By the time we boarded the ferry, masing-masing dah melekit regit. Hujan & bayu laut ain't a great combo ya'all.

And kami pasrah tak dapat nak feeling-feeling Titanic kat atas ferry sebab hujan bagai.
(Muka tak pasrah pun.)

It took us around 45 minutes to reach Jeti Pangkor from Lumut. Laut bergelora seh.

One of the colleagues yang memang orang Pangkor pesan if you intend to shop for souvenirs in Pangkor, you can get the same stuff in Lumut at a cheaper price. Maka dah tolak satu aktiviti dari the short list of things to do in Pangkor -_-"

Jeti to Coral Bay Resort tak sampai sepuluh minit. Those pink taxi-van drivers, pergh -- bawak laju gila. Tak padan dengan usia emas masing-masing.

Coral Bay Resort was super packed with people! We had to wait for awhile before we could check in pastu mula la masing masing mengomel comel ala ala macam tak best je tempat tu yada yada.

Dasar anak manja memasing.

Since the 6 of us single ladies were put together, we got our apartments of 2 rooms next to each other. Facilities semua complete -- ada A/C, fridge, TV so shouldn't be a problem dah.

Unpack a bit, tidur jap pastu bangun kelaparan.

Sebab cuaca mendung hujan bagai, pukul 6 lebih pun dah macam malam. Our stay was nearby to the beach, so we head there first, konon nak feeling sunset bagai.

Tapi kalau tiap 5 langkah je benti amik gambar, memang tak sempat ah nak ke pantai. Tau tau je dah gelap. Tolak dah satu lagi aktiviti untuk dibuat di Pangkor -_-"

Memang banyak ah souvenir shops there, but since kami dah berniat untuk shopping di Lumut balik nanti, we just had to kill time by going into every shop we saw. (Walhal semua benda sama je)

Dinner was sendirian berhad since this trip was truly a free & easy one. Lucky there was a few Malay restaurants nearby to the resort -- makanan sedap, harga pun murah! Fresh watermelon juice gelas besar RM2.50 JE!

And by 9.30 pm we were already back at the resort! Gah!

Memasing in denial sangat, tak mau balik bilik cepat sangat so we pretended having a great time di lobby -_-"

We were back in our rooms before 10 pm. Gila happening tak?
We survived the night with each other, doing girls talk over TV yang ada signal on off.
I slept early, siap mimpi pelik-pelik. Hm.

Second day saw us looking forward for Pangkor -- despite not knowing what to expect.
We had buffet breakfast with the rest before splitting up dan wat hal memasing.

Photobucket

Obviously we had no other choice but to do water activities on our own. So we scout around and saw a boat service that includes snorkeling and island hopping, apa lagi -- ke laut ah kita semua!

Photobucket

Cuaca macam tu je ah. Takde matahari. Mendung tapi tak hujan. Macam Maghrib tapi tu baru pukul 9 pagi.

Photobucket

The boat driver/guide was Bala, a young Indian fella yang macam pasrah je kena layan kiteorang. We asked quite a lot -- speshly on what other things we could do in Pangkor tapi dia sendiri clueless. *sigh*

Bala dropped us at this snorkeling point and I gasped at the first sight of it.

Photobucket

Pergh. Ni mau namanya snorkel berlanggar kaki bontot orang bagai ni.

Photobucket

We jumped in nevertheless. Since the water wasn't as clear much, it was kinda hard to snorkel and play with the fish. And we kept avoiding people in our ways makes snorkeling less fun. Well, dah namanya ramai orang.

Photobucket

I can't help being a big sister in this picture -- takut 'adik-adik' hilang dalam laut tetiba -_-"

Photobucket

Tak puas snorkeling but we had fun together ^^

Bala then took us to Monkey Bay -- a bay where there are wild monkeys around. But when we reached there, we only saw wild dogs running along the beach that we just had to ask Bala again :

"Betul ke Monkey Bay ni? Macam Dog Bay jeggh?"

He laughed.

"Monkey ada. Tapi tak nampak. You tinggalkan food dan pergi mandi laut, kalau itu food hilang, itu monkey sudah ambil."

We were more worried about the dogs than the monkey actually, but Bala assured us that the dogs never harm the visitors there.

Yeah, righttt.

But we went ahead -- or else we had to go back, sebab takde port lain dah nak mandi manda.

Photobucket

We manage to frighten the dogs with our jumping scenes owyeahhh!

The ladies went ahead with swimming around while I stayed behind looking after the stuffs we brought along. Plus I was effin hungry at that time, so stay sambil jaga barang sambil makan sesorang is heaven senarnya hihi.

Later we were joined by the male colleagues and some family with kids -- takde la rasa macam kami je yang kat pulau ni.

Photobucket

But we got bored of swimming so we decided to climb some big rocks nearby, intending to sun bathing ah.

Photobucket

Sebab matahari takde, it turns out to be quite chilly sitting up high in the rocks -_-"

After an hour plus there, we decided to head back to the resort.
And that's when we noticed that the family there was none other than Seelan of HotFM's.

Photobucket

Topless Seelan.
Tsk, itupun korang terliur?

KAMONNN!

Photobucket

Bye bye Monkey Bay!

We were hungry much when we arrived back but the ladies decided to go and dry up by cycling around the area. Along ikutkan saja, despite it has been years since I last rode a bike =p

Photobucket

Dah lah pakai wedges, haiyahhh.

Photobucket

Tapi hapedehal. Layankan jeeee.

Sewa basikal for 2 hours = RM 4. Tapi we had to cut it short as Nanim suffered migraine half way cycling around. Should have eaten first, but then it was unexpected so no sweat. Along pun dah sakit punggung kot time tu -- kerusi basikal keras -_-"

Hoishhh kompleeeeeeeeeeen je dari tadi.

We ate and rested before dinner that night. Dengar cerita ada BBQ tepi swimming pool. But it rained, so we had dinner inside. Hmmm.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Tamau komplen pasal food, itu semua rezekiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii ^^

Photobucket

Us ladies ^^

Photobucket

The guys -- well part of the company ah. Guys lagi ramai dalam company ni senarnye.

Photobucket

Indonesians pun ada ^^

Photobucket

We pretty much stick together most of the time, hee.

Photobucket

There was much leftovers by the time the dinner ended that we came up with a game. Sape kalah kena makan bits of everything!

Photobucket

Ever heard of Koo Chee Pak? Ala, lebih kurang cam Lat Talilat Tali Tamplum. Tapi kiteorang poyo kerja dengan Chinese jadi kena main game Chinese gak ah haha.

We were so not ready to call it a night yet that we decided to hang around in the lobby. The others joined us too, so basically lobby tuh memang kiteorang punya ah. Nanim brought along some cards and board games so yeah, this was how the lobby looked like!

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Tu pun main lama-lama, kiteorang bajet ah we passed 11 pm, sekali baru pukul 10 pm, gah!
End up some decided to go karaoke-ing sebab macam takleh terima akal kena tidur awal haha.

Next morning, the last day itself, all of us to check out waaaaaaaaay before the checking out time. That shows how we were unoccupied much there and would rather be in Lumut -- lucky the others had the same idea too.

So off we head back!

Photobucket

Photobucket

Comel tak Threadless tee saya? Ada gambar giraffe comel macam Along!
It's a gift from Kak Sam -- thanks sesangat, kakak!

Photobucket

Photobucket

It was drizzling masa tunggu ferry so yeah, memang takde rezeki sungguh kami nak naik open air ferry and feeling Titanic bagai.

We didn't waste a second upon reaching Lumut. Lunch cepat-cepat pastu shopping keropok ikan bagai ah!

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

And then tunggu bas, terus balik.
And that was it.

Pretty much of it.
Dunno whether it was worth waiting for this entry or not hihi.

Also dunno whether you peeps wanna go to Pangkor or not after this hihihihi.

Photobucket

Oh well, at least I survived Pangkor with the ones that I don't mind being stranded with ^^

OK DAH DAH. MEMANG ALONG SENGAJA LETAK GAMBAR YANG ADA MUKA SENDIRI JE THANKS SEBAB NOTICE TU SEMUA KTHANXBAI.
